The first conference of representatives of displaced Jews in the American zone in Austria concluded here today after two days of deliberations in the presence of American military authorities, UNRRA officials, and members of the Jewish Brigade. Thirty-one delegates representing over 7,000 Jews from various camps participated.

After adopting a number of resolutions dealing with welfare work and with emigration to Palestine, it elected a central committee which will be located in Salzburg.
