A resolution protesting the persecution of the Jews of Iraq was unanimously adopted at the annual conference of the Federation of Swiss Jewish communities. Twenty-four communities were represented at the parley.
A resolution was also adopted setting a goal of $100,000 to be raised this year by the Jewish community for the support of refugees now living in Switzerland. An appeal was also voiced for a boycott of German business.
