Conference on Five Day Week is Called by Union

A conference to further the five day industrial week has been called by the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations, to be held February 20 at the Hotel Manhattan Square.

The organizations which have been invited to send representatives to the Conference include: the Federal Council of Churches of Christ in America; the New York Diocese of the Catholic Church; Synagogue Council of America; Jewish Sabbath Alliance of America; American Federation of Labor; the Central Trades and Labor Council of Greater New York; United Hebrew Trades and Association of Employers.

The Committee in charge of the Conference is composed of: Capt. N. Taylor Phillips, Chairman, Rabbis Dr. B. Drachman, J. H. Lookstein, A. I. Shuchatowitz, and M. Shuchatowitz; Dr. Samuel Friedman and Harry G. Fromberg.
