Heads of all Jewish organizations and community leaders in Connecticut will attend an emergeney conference to discuss the settlement of German Jewish refugees in Palestine to be held at the Hotel Taft this ‘city on Sunday, February 11.
Louis Lipsky, national chariman of the American Palestine Campaign and American member of the World Zionist Executive, and Pierre Van Passen, noted journalist, will be the guest speakers. Congrassman Herman P. Kopplemann is honorary chairman of the committee in charge. Other members include Rabbi Abraham J. Feldman, Rabbi Morris Silverman, Abraham Goldstein, and Louis Myers, all of Hartford; Dr. Morris Dunn, of New Britain; Charles Rosengarten, of Waterbury; and N. Lubow, of New London.
