Approximately 100 boys and girls were graduated from this city’s schools of Hebrew education.
Exercises at the Shearith Israel Synagogue were featured by an address by Rabbi William Greenburg, spiritual leader of the Hebrew United Brotherhood of Charlotte, N. C. The Sunday school chorus sang a program of Hebrew songs, directed by Samuel Geffen, superintendent of the school.
Three prologues were presented by members of the graduating classes of the Ahavath Achim Sunday School and Bible Class. The Ahavath Achim are under the direction of Rabbi Harry H. Epstein and have Religious Schools with an enrollment of more than 400 students.
Twenty-two boys and girls were confirmed by the Temple, with Rabbi David Marx officiating.
