Speaking at a dinner in his honor here today, arranged by the Anglo-American Committee for a Jewish Army, Cong. Will Rogers Jr., who is in England in connection with proposals to aid the Jews in Europe, declared that: “Hitler and his associates have done a great wrong to the Jewish people and it is for us to do all we can to make amends, not only for the sake of the Jews, but for our own sake.”
