An appropriations measure releasing $3, 516, -667 in Israel currency for distribution to organizations and institutions in Israel was awaiting President Eisenhower’s signature today. Both houses of Congress had accepted an amendment holding that this action should not constitute a precedent in the disbursement of counterpart funds accumulated abroad under the Informational Media Guaranty program.
