Congress Authorizes Oscar Straus Memorial

The Senate unanimously passed the resolution of Congressman Celler of New York for the erection on the public grounds in the District of Columbia of a monument or memorial to the late Oscar Sr. Straus. The action of the Senate followed that taken by the House.

The bill will now go to the President for signature.
