With the opening of the Zionist Congress only hours away, the entire Canadian delegation of four was barred from the Congress today because their credentials were not recognized since the Canadian Zionist Organization did not pay its shekel fee and because the Revisionists complained that the elections were illegal, Rabbi J. L. Slotnik, executive director of the Canadian Zionist Organization and one of the delegates, informed the Jewish Telegraphic Agency.
The delegation consists of two General Zionists, Rabbi J. L. Slotnik of Montreal and Meyer W. Weisgal of Toronto; one Mizrachist, Rabbi Zilberstein of Winnipeg, and one Laborite, J. Hestrin of Winipeg.
