The congress of Jewish youth organizations of Europe was opened last night in the auditorium of the University of Geneva. Rabbi Aime Palliere, noted French convert to Judaism, presided at the opening session.
Among those who greeted the congress at the opening session were Grand Rabbi Salizer; Mr. Popovitch, on behalf of the League of Nations; Victor Jacobson, on behalf of the World Zionist Organization, and several others. All of the speakers praised the work done by the Jewish youth organizations in various countries in strengthening and uplifting Jewish life and in creating good will and better understanding between young Jewish and Gentile groups everywhere.
