A Congress of the Jewish Youth in Italy has just concluded its session at Leghorn. All the Jewish communities in Italy were represented among those present being the President of the Federation of Italian Jewish Communities, and the Rabbis of the chief towns in Italy.

A message was received from Dr. Ch. Weizmann, President of the Zionist World Organization.

A telegram was sent to the King of Italy expressing the loyal sentiments of the Congress and recalling the spirit of liberty and equality in which the Sovereign has always interpreted the best traditions of Italy.

The question of the schools in Italy was discussed. A telegram was sent to the Minister of Education drawing his attention to the spiritual needs of the Jewish children in the country in view of the meant reforms in the school system, by which Catholic instruction is obligatory to all school children.
