The American Jewish Congress, in a statement made to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency today denies that no invitations had been sent to leading Jewish organizations in the Argentine, to participate in the Geneva conference on Sunday, as reported to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency by Argentine leaders.

The statement of the American Jewish Congress says that invitations were sent to Argentine leaders on June 16th and were addressed to the following: G. Trajtenberg, S. Bernhardt, Partido Laborista Hitajduth, Poale Zion, and the Federation Zionista of Argentine.

The belief is expressed that the invitations miscarried.
