A bill banning discrimination in admissions to Connecticut colleges and universities was introduced in the state legislature here yesterday.
The measure would prevent non-denominational tax-exempt schools in the state from making inquiries on their application forms as to race, religion, color or national origin of an applicant, and authorizes the state Civil Rights Commission to Investigate complaints of violations. Similar measures were defeated in the legislature within the past few years.
