Two more synagogues in the Georgian Jewish quarter of Jerusalem were burned down by the Moslem Arabs Monday night. Ancient Scrolls of the Law, some over a thousand years old, were destroyed.

The Arab village near the colony Castinia was bombed by British troops when the villagers opened fire on the British who came to gather the wounded to rush them to Jerusalem hospitals.

The foreign consuls in Jerusalem again submitted a protest to the Acting High Commissioner, H. C. Luke, against the continuation of the riots and the lack of safety for their nationals. Zbyszewski, Polish Consul-General here, as the senior of the diplomatic corps, presented the protest. The Palestine government replied that it is doing all that is necessary.
