A consultation and information center on Judaism will be opened in this city in mid-February by the New York Board of Rabbis, the board announced here today.
The new center, directed by a commission of 12 rabbis under the chairmanship of Rabbi Robert Gordis, will provide free information on Jewish tradition and teachings and will, in addition, offer a guidance service. The board represents some 700 Orthodox, Reform and Conservative rabbis in the metropolitan New York area.
