An essay contest in the field of American Jewish history was announced here today at the closing of Jewish History Week, by Dr. David de Sola Pool, president of the American Jewish Historical Society. The contest is open to all students in schools of higher learning and the three prizes, totalling $1,000, have been provided through a grant from the Louis M. Rabinowitz Foundation.
