Non-perishable groceries, to be distributed among Bronx poor for Purim, were contributed by members of the Tremont Temple Sisterhood, 2064 Grand Concourse, at their Shalchmonoth party yesterday afternoon. About fifty attended.
The feature of teh party was the debate between Mrs. David Golub, who upheld the affirmative on “Should the Education of the Child be Taken Care of Entirely by the State,” and Mrs. B. Gabrielson, who argued the negative. Mrs. Louis Gross, president of the sisterhood, presided.
