Stefan Kolczak, a Pole now residing in the United States, today made retribution to a local Jewish family for his part in the slaying of the family’s head during a pogrom in 1919.
Through a local attorney, Leon Shlivinacy, Kolozak paid $10,000 to the victim’s wife, Mrs. S. Meinfeld, and her four children.
After Meinfeld’s death, Kolozak fled to the United States where he has since made his home.
