The ninth annual convention of the Association of Americans and Canadians in Israel opened here tonight with greetings by the Canadian Ambassador to Israel, Miss Margaret Meagher and by U.S. Ambassador Ogden Reid, Jr. One of the major problems to be dealt with at the convention will be that of suitable housing to encourage immigration from countries with high living standards.
