The site of the forthcoming national convention of the National Association of Attorneys General has been changed from Phoenix, Arizona, to White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, because of protests by the B’nai B’rith Anti-Defamation League and a number of state attorneys general against holding the parley at the Camelback Inn, in Phoenix, which discriminates against Jewish guests.
A representative of the management of the Camelback In said the hotel had been under “extreme pressure” from the ADL to change its guest selection Policy. Expressing “respect” for the right of the attorneys general to move the convention out of the hotel, the spokesman said it had been hoped that the attorneys general would “respect our rights to run our own business.”
