A pledge that the Order will support “to the fullest extent” the Brith Sholom settlement in Israel, where a large number of Yomenite families settled recently, was one of the resolutions adopted at the 48th annual convention of the Independent Order Brith Sholom of Baltimore held at the Breakers Hotel here, at which Sol A. Bogat was elected grand master.
The project, known as the “Brith Sholom Nachla,” was officially dedicated on April 4, with past grand master Bernard and Mrs. Danzansky, of Washington, D.C. in attendance at the dedication coremonies, as representatives of Brith Sholom. According to the terms of the resolution, Brith Sholom intends to supplement its support of the settlement through additional financial contributions in the years to come.
