The three-day annual convention of the National Association of Temple Educators opened here last night with the participation of delegates representing Reform synagogues throughout the country.
Among the topics to be dealt with by the educators are the Reform Jewish day school and the area of the relationship of the public and religious school. In Reform Jewish education there has been a movement of late which favors the establishment of an all day school under Reform Jewish auspices. Some Reform Jewish educators insist that the tradition and heritage of Reform Judaism would best be served if this type of education would become an integral part of Reform Judaism.
