Dr. Abraham Coralnik, associate editor of The Day and founder of the non-Sectarian Anti – Nazi League to Champion Human Rights against Nazism, yesterday announced his resignation from the post of vice-president of the anti-Nazi organization.
According to Dr. Coralnik, basic disagreements on policy forced his withdrawal as one of the heads of the League, but he assured he would continue his efforts in behalf of the League’s Jewish activities.
Specifically, Dr. Coralnik declared that the recent London conference, which elected Samuel Untermyer head of the world boycott movement, with its over-emphasis on the non-sectarian policy of the boycott organization and its under-emphasis of the Jewish endeavor, was at the basis of his resignation.
Besides being the founder of the anti-Nazi league, Mr. Coralnik was its first president.
