The cornerstone of the Hebrew University’s new Law Building was laid here today at a ceremony attended by Israel Supreme Court Chief Justice Olshan, members of the high court and other justices and Allan Bronfman and Justice M. Freedman, leaders of a Canadian Jewish fund drive for the new law faculty.
The Canadian campaign is expected to exceed the original $750,000 goal of the drive. Prof. Benjamin Mazer, president of the University, hailed “this link in the chain of projects of Canadian Jewry.”
