The XXXIII Council of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations, which will meet in Chicago, June 18-22, will consider as a general theme “Jewish Life and Thought in the Last One Hundred Years” in the Symposium which forms an important part of its program.
There are to be three sessions in this Symposium which is entitled “Judaism Tomorrow.” The first will be devoted to “Cross Currents in Religion Today” and “Impacts of Contemporary. Life upon Judaism”; the second to “Jewish Contributions to the Social and Spiritual Ideals of the Twentieth Century,” and the third to “The Synagogue,” “The Home” and “Jewish Education,” under the general title “Judaism in Action.”
