The World Jewish Congress announced today that the Council of Jewish Communities in Bohemia and Moravia, representing 20,000 Jews in more than 50 communities, has voted to become affiliated with it. Dr. Arnost Frischer is president of the Council.
At the sane time, Dr. I. Schvartzbart, head of the Congrees’ Organization Department, reported that the Jewish Communities of Tunisia, representing 120,000 Jews, will hold its first conference on Feb. 1st.
