Gustav Saron, General Secretary of the Jewish Board of Deputies here, has been awarded a scholarship for advanced study in community organization by the National Council of Jewish Women in the United States, it was announced here today.
Mr. Saron will leave for the United States in September to pursue postgraduate studies at the School of Applied Social Science at Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. The Board of Deputies has granted him sabbatical leave to enable him to take up the scholarship.
