The majority report of the United Nations Special Committee on Palestine was endorsed by the national board of directors of the National Council of Jewish Women here last night, the organization announced. Another resolution urged Congress to pass the Stratton Bill to admit 400,000 IP’s of all faiths as immigrants during the next four years. Mrs. Joseph M. Welt, president of the Council, indicated that the organization supported the Stratton Bill because it represented the only immediate and practical measure to obtain the entrance of a large number of DP’s. The sessions, which are scheduled to close Friday, are attended by representatives of 200 Council sections throughout the country.
