Twenty women from all parts of the United States have been granted scholarships by the National Council of Jewish Women for participation in a community leadership training seminar. The women were chosen for the two-week seminar which starts this Monday in Greenwich, Conn., on the basis of outstanding activities in their own communities.
The seminar launches a new nation-wide program to train the council’s 110,000 members for leadership in community affairs, Mrs. Moise S. Cahn, NCJW president said. The 20 women will take the lead in setting up training programs for all members in the Council’s 240 affiliated sections.
