The Buffalo section of the National Council of Jewish Women is conducting a telephone census of all Jewish households in Buffalo and Erie County. The survey is being made at the request of the Buffalo Jewish Center and the United Jewish Federation.
Council volunteers are making a count of all members residing in each household. This will be the first census of Jews in many years. The Center and Federation hope that a complete count of the Jewish population will be provided to help in assuring better services to the Jewish community.
