Courses in the elements of Jewish culture have been added to the curriculum of the Newark College of Rutgers University, it was announced today. The course, sponsored by the Jewish Education Association, will be given by Dr. Louis M. Levitsky, director of the School of Jewish Studies of the Jewish Theological Seminary.
A series of eight lectures analyzing the political, social and cultural development of Israel will be presented by the University at Rutgers this semester. The lectures will be delivered by Benjamin Schwadran, lecturer at the Near East Center of the New School for Social Research.
