A Federal Court injunction was sought in Chicago today against the police ban on showing of the March of Time film. “Inside Nazi Germany – 1938,” while the picture was temporarily withdrawn from 425 Warner Brothers theatres throughout the country.
Warner Brothers refused to indicate why the picture had been withdrawn. Its action, however, was not expected to affect seriously distribution of the film, since it was stated at March of Time offices here that the newsreels were released in 8,200 theatres throughout the country, including R.K.O., Fox and other circuits.
