Testimony of Chief Rabbi Hertz of England in injunction proceedings by the Jewish Community Council against Isomor Brenner will not be admitted. Superior Court Justice Curran has ruled.
The Council seeks to restrain Brenner from operating as a kosher slaughterer since he refused to recognize the authority of the Council. The court pointed out it would be illegal to permit examination of the Chief Rabbi for the purpose of establishing events confined to Canada.
