The district court in Groningen has overruled the seizure of large quantities of Nazi books, periodicals and pamphlets and ordered the public prosecutor to return the material to the auction house from which it was taken. The material, amounting to 600 lots, is from a private collection. The owner, deceased, stated before his death that he wanted it auctioned for the benefit of his widow. The auction house has sent catalogues to university libraries and potential private buyers.
