The Bucharest court today denied the appeal of the public prosecutor against the court’s decision acquitting Zelea Codreanu, anti-Semitic agitator who had been tried on charges of inciting to riot and murder. When the court acquitted Codreanu the public prosecutor lodged an appeal and pending a hearing on the appeal Codreanu remained under arrest. It is expected that he will now be released.
