Fernand Cremieux, noted French Jewish statesman, died here yesterday. M. Cremieux was a member of the French Senate since 1903. Previously, he had been a deputy since 1878.
M. Cremieux was a lawyer. He was educated at the College d’Orange and the Lycee de Marseilles. He wore the ribbon of the Legion of Honor. He married a daughter of Andre Alphandery, banker.
