Croatian Jewish leaders are criticizing a recent flurry of anti-Semitism. Ognjen Kraus told a news conference that constitutional protections against racial and religious hatred were not being enforced. A recent television commentary has denounced attempts by a “Serb-Jewish lobby” to destroy Croatia, and a former army officer recently said that the tribunal investigating war crimes in the former Yugoslavia was founded by freemasons and Jews.
