Every hotel here is filled to capacity with arrivals from foreign countries who came to witness the Maccabiad games. Accommodations are being arranged in private homes, since the hotels are unable to accept any more guests.
A special arrangement was made with the Palestine railways for the speedy transportation of thousands of visitors from many points in Palestine and Egypt to the games. Similar arrangements have also been made to bring thousands of foreign travelers from the Haifa harbor to this city.
