The Cuban Cabinet last night adopted a proposal by Foreign Minister Juan Remos to ease entry requirements so as to permit immigration of Jewish refugees from Germany, Austria and Italy. While details of the proposal were not made available, it was learned that it will be embodied in a special decree to be issued shortly by President Laredo Bru.
Meanwhile, the authorities have permitted 21 German Jewish refugees who arrived Nov. 7, after having been barred by Mexico, to remain in Cuba. Permission was granted after the Committee for German Jews posted guarantees that the refugees would not become public charges.
