Meanwhile, newspaper advertisements calling on Arabs and all those who are pro-Arab to vote for Dr. Carlos Prio Socarras for President in the June Presidential elections have been appearing regularly here for the past few weeks. Socarras has the support of the incumbent, Dr. Ramon Grau San Martin. The ads stress that Cuba’s anti-partition vote in the United Nations General Assembly last November “has won the hearts of the Arab states.”
