Raphael Zilber, well-known Cuban Zionist leader and former president of the Zionist General Council here, has been appointed Cuba’s commercial representative in Israel, it was announced today. Zilber, who will leave for Israel via New York towards the end of the week, will be the guest of honor at a testimonial banquet to be held tomorrow.
