a resolution protesting the Nazi massacres of Jews in occupied countries was adopted yesterday by the Cuban Senate, voting upon a motion introduced by Dr. Jorge Manach. It was learned here today that the Cuban foreign ministry is studying the possibility of a joint declaration by all the countries of the Western Hemisphere condemning the Nazi atrocities.
Diplomatic circles here stated that it was possible that Cuba might intervene with the Vatican and the Red Cross in Switzerland, asking that action be taken to aid the persecuted Jews.
