Cultural work among the national minorities in the Ukraine will be discussed at an All-Ukrainian Conference called for May 20th. by the Ukrainian Ministry of Education. After an address by the Minister of Education, M. Skripnik, to the whole Conference on the cultural work among the national minorities, the Conference will divide into national sections. At the Jewish Cultural Sectional Conference reports will be presented on behalf of the Supreme Economic Council and the Ministry of Agriculture and addresses will be delivered by Mr. Kiper, representing the Central Committee, and Mr. Lieberberg on the subject of an institute of Jewish culture. There will be other reports on methods of work in the Jewish schools, Jewish proletarian literature and other matters. 25 town schools, 15 village schools, 10 industrial schools, 5 agricultural schools, Jewish publishing houses, the Jewish press, the Jewish State Theatres and Jewish State libraries will be represented at the Conference.
