Replying to Colonel Josiah Wedgwood in the House of Commons today, Sir Philip Cunliffe-Lister, British, Secretary of State for Colonies, stated he had received no reports of Nazi propaganda’s breaking out at the Levant Fair or elsewhere in Palestine. He stated it as his belief that no Nazi organization has been formed among the Arabs and that no ### papers are receiving subsidies from Germany.

Sir Philip said he had heard the rumors that the police wore swastikas on their arms at the Levant Fair but he was treating them as irresponsible reports because he is certain that if they were authentic, High Commissioner Sir Arthur Grenfel Wauchope would have taken action and that he would have already received a direct and official report.
