Sir Philip Cunliffe-Lister, British Colonial Secretary, replying to an interpellation by Josiah Wedgewood, Laborite member of parliament, declared in the House of Commons tonight that he was unaware that the Palestine government was planning to restrict the number of Jewish doctors allowed to practice in Palestine.

The Palestine government, according to Joseph W. P. Harkness, deputy director of health in the Palestine administration, is considering possible restriction along these lines in view of the reported increase in the number of Jewish doctors and dentists.
