Chancellor Cuno today received Jacob Landau, director of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, in the company of other Jewish journalists and spoke at length on the problems facing Germany, particularly dwelling on the vexing reparations issue.
The Jew has always been an instrumentality for the promotion of peace, Cuno declared, and the “mighty Jewish press of America” may do much towards the moulding of a sane attitude towards the reparations problem, he concluded.
