Curbs on Jewish Lawyers Asked by Czechs

Czech bar associations moved today to eliminate Jewish lawyers from practice in Czecho-Slovakia. A decision to urge introduction of a numerous clausus against Jewish lawyers was taken at a meeting of representatives of Praha, Brno and Bratislava bar associations.

The German minority served notice, meanwhile, that it would not participate in the national campaign for refugees because no guarantee was given that Jews would not benefit from the funds raised.
