The 33rd annual convention of the National Council of Young Israel will be held this year in conformity with war-time ODT regulations, according to an announcement today by Edward S. Silver, national president of the council.
Instead of holding the meeting outside of New York City and inviting large delegations from Young Israel branches throughout the United States, the council has decided to hold its convention at the Hotel McAlpin in New York City, on Sunday, June 24, and to limit out-of-town attendance to less than 50 delegates, Mr. Silver said, A small number of representatives from the New England and Mid-Western groups of the organization will attend.
