Spirited fighting broke out at the All-Roumanian Congress of University professors which met to consider the question of reopening the universities and the numerus clausus.
The fighting occurred between the adherents of the anti-Semitic leader, Professor Cuza and those opposing Cuza. The latter were in the majority. Police were called in to restore order and one police commissioner was injured. A number of students were arrested.
