Cuzists Busy Again in Jassy District: Jewish Shops Attacked and Jews Injured

Windows in Jewish shops have been samashed and Jewish shopkeepers attacked and injured during Cuzist demonstrations in the township of Podul-Iloaei, in Moldavia, near Jassy and very close to Targu-Fromos, where the antisemitic outbreak occurred in the summer of 1930 after Professor Cuza’s election in the near-by town of Roman. Three Jews, Asher Weiser, Shapse Nachmann, and Nachmann’s 75 year old father are in a very serious condition.
